On Monday, the Riyadh Air Metropolitano stadium brought together startups from the innovation and entrepreneurship centers of the Madrid City Council, representatives of the innovative ecosystem, and members of different departments of Club Atlético de Madrid, with the aim of driving innovation applied to sports, sustainability, and entrepreneurship.
A meeting to accelerate innovation in sports
During the event, technological solutions and innovative projects developed by startups participating in acceleration and open innovation programs were presented, promoted jointly by the City Council and Atlético de Madrid.
This meeting is part of the collaboration agreement signed on March 17, 2025 between both entities, with the purpose of consolidating Madrid as a European benchmark in innovation applied to sports and sustainability.
AyGLOO: AI to prevent injuries and optimize training
AyGLOO was selected to participate in this event within the Sports and Health area. Our platform offers an AI-based interface that allows technical teams to prevent injuries and optimize training.
We presented our business model to different departments of Atlético de Madrid, including Sports, Business, Data, Digital Development, and Sustainability, among others. This collaboration represents a unique opportunity to apply Prescriptive Decision AI in the world of professional sports, demonstrating how our technology can make a real difference in athlete performance and well-being.
Innovation programs for startups
The agreement includes the implementation of business acceleration programs and open innovation projects aimed at startups and entrepreneurs. These programs are oriented to facilitate the development of products and services based on artificial intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies, which respond to real challenges posed by both the City Council and Club Atlético de Madrid, through Atleti Lab, its innovation department.
